Huichol Foundation Launch Party

Sunday, November 18th at the Museum of Art & History, 6:30-10:00pm

This evening will provide an opportunity for guests to learn about the Huichol people and how they can take part in the organization. Featuring a display of rare photography and a world class indigenous art exhibition, the event will also offer food and drink from various local businesses including El Palomar Restaurant, Whole Foods, The Penny Ice Creamery, and Verve Coffee Roasters.

Presentations featuring community members involved in the foundation, including Whole Foods Global V.P. Michael Besancon, NASA Chief of Business Systems Darlene Gross, and 6-time Hawaii Ironman Triathlon World Champion Mark Allen. A special address will be given by Brant Secunda, co-founder of the Huichol Foundation, on his personal experience living and learning in the Sierra Madre Mountains with the Huichol people.
